The Final Conference of the ESSC – Commerce, held at the Royal Windsor Hotel in Brussels, Belgium, gathered representatives from the European Commission, the Social Partners, ESSC Partners and stakeholders from the Commerce sector.
The event marked the conclusion of the first year of activities carried out by the Council and aimed at raising awareness on critical issues as: Skills, Training, Education and Employment in the Commerce sector.
The Conference was also the occasion to showcase the results of the Council’s efforts and achievements. In this framework, a series of sector analysis, presentations concerning Council’s role and activities and future initiatives have been followed over the course of the day.
ESSC partners had the opportunity to present part of their best practice linked to the commerce sector as well as the three reports produced during the year. Finally, the 2014 Final Report, including a series of recommendations for Council’s future activities, has been introduced to attendees.
